The mental illness I overcame

I’m introducing myself not as someone who has it all figured out, but as someone who refuses to stay silent.

For 26 years, I was a single mother raising five children, navigating closed doors, unstable work, and systems that were never designed to see my full humanity. I worked, volunteered, labored, and survived, often without recognition, resources, or real opportunity. Still, I kept going. Not because it was easy, but because giving up was never an option.

My business and this blog were born from that journey.

I created this space to tell real stories, document diverse qualities of life around the world, and help small businesses, especially those led by single parents and underserved entrepreneurs, access the funding, visibility, and confidence they deserve. Through grant writing, Storytelling, and strategic support, my work turns lived experience into leverage and resilience into results.

I pray I say something that will light a spark in you to continue your journey in a positive speaking way and to pass this on to others. My prayer is that this blog will go around the world, healing, delivering, and giving life through my words, so we all live more beautiful, peaceful lives.
