They say a mind is a terrible thing to waste, but what if you never knew you were out of your mind. What if you didn’t know your mind was already gone. Christ said ” The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but I came to give you life, and life more abundantly ” (John 10:10). Not learning who Christ is and not following his way of life and continuing to sin, we are spiritually dead, spiritually we are out of our mind and what happens in the spirit, manifests in the natural. But if we just believe! Seek Christ and turn from our life of sin, lean not to our own understanding and in all thy ways acknowledge Jesus is Christ, he can and will restore and heal our minds.

This is not just scripture I am quoting, this is something I have experienced. It wasn’t easy and I had to want Christ more than I wanted life. I had to want his way, his will, his mind. I had to die to my old ways. My way of thinking had to die, my way of talking had to die, my way of responding had to die, what I thought I knew had to die.

As I began praying, fasting and seeking him then the layers began to peel. The negativity, the cursing, the depression, the pain, hurting people, people hurting me, the rejection. Oh the list goes on and on.

I began to come into my right mind, seeing things new, being able to love, not only others but loving myself. The negative words spoken over me by my mother began to break off my life. I am beautiful, I’m not a liar, I am a child of the most high.

Nobody do but you Lord! Nobody but you. That is the song in my heart. Be free in Jesus name.
