The mind is a terrible thing to waste

All day we are around other people, other conversations. These people and conversations all influence how we think, our beliefs, and our motives. They influence us rather you think they do or not. A whisper in the air tickles you’re ear and you ponder on it all day. It dances around in your head, you twist it, flip it, re-word it, stretch it and you judge it. A song or a tune catches your ear, you riminess on it, you hum it, laugh or cry thinking about it. “back in the day…” you begin to think.

That mindset is a worldly mindset. Distracted by the things of this world. The bible says to guard you ear and your eye gates. Think on thoughts that are pure. Think on heavenly things. Pray and seek Christ. We have to keep the word of God in and around us at all times. It must be hidden in our hearts and in our ears to keep us pure and holy. Christ said be ye holy as I am holy. Holiness is key to staying free and staying un spotted. We have to remove ourselves from this world. No! Not by death. We as Christians are in this world but not of this world. We do not entangle our self’s with the affairs of this world. That whisper you heard, let it go through one ear and out the other. That song that came to mind, begin to think on pure thoughts. Every thought that exalts it’s self above God pull it down. If you are a friend of the world, you are an enemy of God. The world is loosing it’s mind. Let’s keep our
